Principal's Message

Hello Wildcat Families!

We would like to welcome you and your child(ren) to Wildwood Elementary School, home of the Wildcats in grades PK-5^th. At Wildwood, we believe in creating a safe and welcoming environment for all students, staff and families to cultivate lifelong learners. We utilize a Multi-Tiered System of Supports to help students to provide differentiated support for students based on their needs across academics, social-emotional learning and behavior. In addition to receiving rigorous instruction using Wonders ELA Curriculum and Ready Math Curriculum, every student also engages in daily intervention or enrichment in both English Language Arts and Mathematics. We also host a variety of clubs and activities including Student Advisory, Mileage Club, Track, Robotics, Gardening, and Lego League.

For those of you who are new to our Wildwood community, let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Sarah Jackson. I am entering my seventh year as the proud principal of Wildwood. Educating young children is a passion of mine and I am honored to be able to do that every day. My husband, who is also an educator in Federal Way Public Schools, and I have two children of our own, 19 and 15 year old boys, so we understand the dedication it takes to raise happy, healthy, well-rounded children. I appreciate your partnership and all that you do at home to help your child(ren) be the best they can be here at school.

As principal, I am very proud of the accomplishments achieved by our students, out staff, and our school community. We saw a great deal of growth in our students the past two school years, both academically and social-emotionally, through our collective efforts in meeting students’ individual needs and helping them reach their maximum potential. I am confident that we will continue moving forward with another exciting and prosperous school year at Wildwood!
